Groundhog Day

Sat, Feb 5 | 11am | TMT

Cynical weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray) thought his visit to Punxsutawney, Pennsylva- nia, was a forgettable day, but when he wakes up the next morning…well, you know the rest. This contemporary classic, from director Harold Ramis and cowriter Danny Rubin, managed to be romantic, funny, and even philosophical while practically inventing an entirely new genre. Andie MacDowell is the skeptical object of Murray’s affections, and Stephen Tobolowsky is the truly unforgettable Ned Ryerson.

DIRECTOR: Harold Ramis.

CAST: Bill Murray, Andie MacDowell, Chris Elliott, Stephen Tobolowsky.

1993. 98 min. USA. Color. English. 35mm.
