LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures acknowledges the Tongva people as the traditional caretakers of the water and land on which we program, curate, educate, convene, and discuss. We honor and pay respect to Tongva ancestors and the Tongva community today, which continues to nurture this land and water through traditional practices, activism, art, and education.
