This ongoing series features films highlighted in the Academy Museum's core exhibition Stories of Cinema and presents the diverse, international, and complex stories of movie- makers, the works they create, and the impact their art has on the world. Designed to be celebratory and to contextualize and challenge dominant narratives about cinema, this film series illuminates the many histories of moviemaking as told through a wide variety of experiences and perspectives.
